King prawns with sorrel, pickled cucumber, rye bread and a lemon yoghurt emulsion

Roasted parsnip and apple soup with parsnip crisps                     

Red onion tarte tatin with beetroot puree and a goat’s cheese bonbon

Haggis spring rolls with chilli jam

Mains

Roasted breast of Hampshire Turkey served with chestnut stuffing, pigs in blankets,

cranberry and orange sauce, duck fat roast potatoes and roasted winter roots

28-day dry-aged Ribeye steak with wild mushroom stroganoff sauce and triple cooked chips

Linguini with Scottish rope-grown mussels, Beurre blanc and parsley

Mushroom, spinach and chestnut Wellington with sorrel cream

All served with sautéed sprouts finished with smoked bacon and double cream

Desserts

Ye Olde George Inn Christmas pudding served with brandy and orange jus and clotted cream

Warm raspberry and almond frangipane tart with toasted almonds and homemade raspberry ripple ice cream

Sticky date pudding with vanilla ice cream and toffee sauce

Selection of English cheeses served with oat cakes, onion jam, grapes and celery
